Privacy & Terms

SkyAdd is a publication. We monitor airline seat sales, error and mistake fares, loyalty program changes and travel credit card offers, and publish short briefings and email alerts for the Canada and United States editions you choose.

SkyAdd does not sell, issue, hold or service airline tickets, and we are not party to any booking you make. All reservations, payments, changes, cancellations and refunds are handled directly by the airline, online travel agency or card issuer you book with, under their own terms and conditions.

Fares, award pricing and card offers change without notice, and the best ones disappear quickly. Always confirm the price, route, dates, baggage rules and fine print with the airline or issuer before you pay.

Error and mistake fares are, by their nature, pricing mistakes. An airline may decline to honour one and cancel or refund the booking under its conditions of carriage. We cannot guarantee that any fare we publish will remain available, be honoured, or be ticketed, and we are not responsible for related costs such as hotels, other flights or time off work. Book non-refundable extras only after your ticket is confirmed.

Memberships are offered monthly or yearly, and the price depends on how many editions you choose. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal; SkyAdd never sees or stores your full card number.

Memberships renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. Applicable Canadian GST/HST is added where required. Adding an edition mid-term requires payment of the prorated balance for the remainder of your billing period; removing an edition takes effect right away and does not create a refund.

You can cancel at any time from your membership page. Cancelling stops future renewals and ends alerts at the end of the period already paid for. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Error fare alerts are included with every active membership. Seat sale alerts are on by default and can be turned off at any time from your membership page.

Our content is for your personal use. Please do not republish, resell, scrape or systematically redistribute our briefings or alerts, or share your membership access with others. We may suspend or end a membership that is misused, and we may change or discontinue features and pricing with notice for future billing periods.

Some outbound links may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you, and this never affects which deals we publish. SkyAdd is provided as-is, without warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to the membership fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Your email address, the editions you select, your alert preferences, your membership status and renewal date, and the messages you send us through the contact form.

We also collect standard technical information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and the pages you view, so we can keep the site secure and understand which stories are useful.

Card and PayPal details are entered on Stripe's or PayPal's own secure checkout and handled entirely by them. SkyAdd stores only a payment reference so we can manage renewals and cancellations — never your full card number.

To send the alerts and briefings you signed up for, to run your membership and billing, to answer your messages, to improve what we publish, and to prevent fraud and abuse.

Your email address and personal details are never sold, rented or shared with advertisers or marketing lists. We share information only with the services that make SkyAdd work — payment processing, email delivery, hosting and analytics — and only as needed, or when the law requires it.

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic, and essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

We keep your details for as long as your membership is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for records, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time, and unsubscribe links appear in our emails.

SkyAdd is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
