How to Earn 30,000 Bonus Amex Points on an Eligible ANA Booking

A targeted US Amex Offer awards 30,000 bonus Membership Rewards points for US$2,500 in eligible ANA spending by November 30, 2026. Enrol first, book direct and check the operating airline.

Adapted for this edition

US travellers booking ANA can earn 30,000 bonus Amex Membership Rewards points through a targeted offer. It rewards eligible spending rather than cutting the ticket price upfront. Here’s how to use it.

1. Check your Amex account. Look for the ANA offer on your cards and add it to the card you’ll use before paying. Read your specific terms: some cardholders may see a US$300 statement-credit version instead of the points offer.

2. Choose the card before booking. If the points offer appears on your US Amex Platinum, its 5x earning rate on airfare booked directly with airlines can stack with the bonus. An eligible US$2,500 purchase would earn 42,500 points in total. That is a points balance, not a guaranteed cash saving; its value depends on how you redeem it.

3. Book directly with ANA. Use the airline’s website, app or call centre, pay with the enrolled card and meet the US$2,500 spending requirement by November 30, 2026. Your flight must originate in the United States and the charge must be in USD. Travel can take place after the booking deadline.

4. Check who operates the flight. Codeshares and ANA flights operated by partner airlines do not qualify, nor do bookings through third parties or affiliated agents. Check the itinerary before paying.

5. Don’t rely on extras to reach the threshold. Exclusions include inflight Wi-Fi, entertainment and phone service; standalone hotels and car rentals; duty-free purchases; travel insurance; Mobile Rental Service; and Bid My Price.

Use this offer for an ANA booking you already need. Spending more simply to unlock the bonus can erase its benefit.
