Chase’s current World of Hyatt Business Credit Card offer gives new cardmembers 70,000 bonus points after US$7,000 in purchases within three months of opening an account, with the offer advertised through Dec. 31, 2026. US business owners should consider it only if existing expenses can meet that requirement and they can pay balances in full. Canadian travellers should note that this is a US-issued card subject to Chase’s eligibility and approval requirements, not a Canadian-market offer.
The card earns two Hyatt bonus points per US dollar in the business’s three highest-spending eligible categories each quarter, selected automatically. Categories include dining, shipping, certain online advertising, directly booked airline tickets, car rentals, gas, local transit and internet, cable and phone services. Direct purchases from Air Canada, United, Delta or American can therefore be relevant, but these card rewards are Hyatt points—not Aeroplan, MileagePlus, SkyMiles or AAdvantage miles.
The annual fee is US$199, with up to US$100 in annual Hyatt statement credits available as two US$50 credits, each triggered by an eligible Hyatt purchase of at least US$50. Other benefits include Discoverist status, status gifts for up to five employees and five qualifying-night credits per US$10,000 spent in a calendar year. Canadian applicants should budget in USD rather than treat these figures as CAD prices; exchange rates affect their Canadian-dollar cost.
Before applying, compare the hotel reward with your existing points strategy. US travellers can also transfer eligible Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt, while Amex Membership Rewards US does not offer a direct Hyatt transfer. For Canadians, Amex Membership Rewards Canada can support an Aeroplan strategy but does not transfer directly to Hyatt; this offer does not earn WestJet Rewards either. Check award availability and the points required for your intended hotels before assigning a value to the bonus—70,000 points does not guarantee a fixed number of nights.
